The Sherman Town Board met in regular session Tuesday, December 1 2015 at 7:30 p.m. at the Sherman Town Hall.

Members present: Lee Ellis Gerry Karpen, Cheryl Swenson and Robin Berg.

Members absent: Bill Benson

Ellis called the meeting to order.

Others present: Kara Duncan and Garrick Moritz.

Approval of the Agenda: Motion by; Karpen, Second by; Ellis.

ROUTINE BUSINESS: Minutes of the November 3, 2015 meeting was approved as read. Motion by; Karpen, Second by; Ellis.

The treasurer’s report was approved as read, Motion by; Karpen, Second by; Ellis.

CLAIMS APPROVED TO BE PAID: Xcel Energy, street light $268.23 park light $18.63 town hall lights; $33.15; Minnehaha Community Water, Nov. water $30.00; Palisades Propane, 78 gal. $62.32; Lucas Swenson, 4.5 hrs plowing $54.00; Gerry Karpen , zoning salary $100.00, 7 meetings $175.00; Lee Ellis, 4 meetings $ 120.00, 1 special meeting $30.00; Bill Benson, 7 meetings $175.00; Cheryl Swenson, salary $250.00; Robin Berg, salary $250.00, Gerry Karpen, 20 carbon monoxide & smoke alarms $411.73 Robin Berg 4 carbon monoxide & smoke alarms $91.88; Lee Ellis, Guy Bakke flowers $35.99;

OLD BUSINESS:

Motion by; Karpen, second by; Ellis to approve Bullets Alcoholic Beverage License. With a vote of 2 yes.

We are looking at fundraisers for new playground equipment. Fundraisers, being considered are one at the Bullet around June 18, 2016. A soup supper was also mentioned but no date has been set. Loren Konda is looking at a fundraiser of a tractor drive parade and would like to help Sherman with the new park, date he is looking at Aug. 12^th or 13^th 2016. Next meeting set for Sunday, December 27, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. at the Bullet.

A total of 24carbon monoxide & smoke alarms where handed out to the residents of Sherman.
