The Sherman Town Board met in regular session Tuesday Oct. 1, 2019 @ 7:30pm.

Members Present: Lee Ellis, Gerry Karpen, Darrin Trower, and Cheryl Swenson

Others Present: Trace Fisher, Kayla Perez, Bob Julson, and LeRon Smit

Ellis called the meeting to order.

Routine Business:

Approval of the agenda: Motion to approve agenda by Karpen, 2^nd by Trower- 3 ayes

Minutes of the September 3, 2019 were read and approved as read- motion by Karpen to approve minutes, 2^nd by Trower- all ayes

The Treasurers report was approved as read- Karpen made a motion to approve the Treasures report, 2^nd by Trower- 3 ayes.

Claims approved to be paid:

Garretson Gazette $22.2 Aug minutes, Xcel Energy $280.42 street lights, $28.29 park lights, $32.11 town hall lights, Bill Benson $80.00 for 2x mowing, Minnehaha Community Water $30.00 for water, Darrin Trower $70.00 for 2x mowing city lots, $80.00 for 2x mowing Strom Park, Gerry Karpen $10.00 for title transfer.

Old Business:

1.Vacant lot at 110 Zeliff Ave.- Received a bid on lot for $4,000.00.

Kapen made a motion to go into executive session to discuss bid, 2^nd by Trower- 3 ayes. Board went into executive session.

Ellis called the meeting back to order- Board decided the lowest they would go was $7,000.00.

Purchaser agreed to pay $7,000.00. Karpen made a motion to accept the bid of $7,000.00 for the lot on 110 Zeliff Ave, 2^nd by Trower- 3 ayes.

2. Snow removal- Ellis proposed Lucas Swenson do snow removal Friday- Sunday when needed and R&R

do snow removal Mon- Thurs when needed. Karpen made a motion to accept Swenson for Friday –

Sunday and R&R Mon-Thursday, 2^nd by Trower- 3 ayes.

New Business:

1. School House-discussion was held- Karpen made a motion not to bring the old school house to town, 2^nd by Trower- 3 ayes.

2. Gutters on Town Hall- Karpen made a motion to spend $1,500.00 on gutter repairs to town hall, 2^nd by Trower- 3 ayes.

3. Drag- Duncan would like to make a drag for the streets. Karpen made a motion to allow $500.00 for Duncan to make drag, 2^nd by Trower- 3 ayes.

Motion by Karpen to adjourn meeting, 2^nd by Trower- 3 ayes.
