The Sherman Town Board met in regular session Tuesday, December 6, 2011, 7:30 p.m. at the Sherman Town Hall with President Lee Ellis presiding.

Members Present: Kara Duncan, Bill Benson and Cheryl Swenson.

Absent: Danessa Keener
Others Present: Larry Sutton, Gerry and Ellen Karpen, and Robin Berg

ROUTINE BUSINESS

The agenda was approved; motion by Duncan, 2nd by Benson

Minutes of the Nov. 1, 2011 meeting were read and approved with one correction: Ellen not

Linda Karpen. Motion by Duncan, 2nd by Benson.

Treasurers report was read and approved; motion by Duncan, 2nd by Benson.

CLAIMS APPROVED TO BE PAID

Menards 65.92 snow fence, Xcel Energy 239.63 lights, SDML 57.55 annual dues, Anderson

Publications 54.62 2011 appropriation, Jesse James 59.79 gas, Minnehaha Community

Water 28.00 water, Kara Duncan 175.00 7 meetings, Bill Benson 200.00 8 meetings,

Lee Ellis 200.00 8 meetings, Larry Sutton 100.00 salary, Danessa Keener 250.00 salary

and Cheryl Swenson 250.00 salary.

OLD BUSINESS

1. Final reading of the Budget-- all ayes to approve budget.

2. Culverts are all done--Benson will call Eldon, if he cant get to it soon then will call someone

else.

3. Bullet Alcoholic License--motion to pass license by Duncan and 2nd by Benson.

NEW BUSINESS

1. Workers comp. paid

2. Renewed the 1yr CD

3. Snowplow--Ellis will take off alternator so it can get fix.

4. Christmas party will be Dec. 11th at 1:00pm--city will donate 50.00 for gift certificates.

       Ellis will ask fire dept for donation.
