The Sherman Town Board met in regular session Tuesday, June 3, 2014, 7:30 p.m. at the Sherman Town Hall with Lee Ellis presiding.

Members present: Lee Ellis, Gerry Karpen, Bill Benson and Robin Berg

Members Absent; Cheryl Swenson

Others present: Ellen Karpen and Toby Brown

ROUTINE BUSINESS: Minutes of the May 6, 2013, meeting were approved as read, Motion by; Karpen, Second by; Benson.

Reading of the Special Zoning Session on new Proposed Zoning Ordinance.

Minutes of the April 27, 2013, meeting were approved as read, Motion by; Karpen, Second by; Benson.

The treasurer’s report was read by Karpen, approved as read. Motion by; Benson, Second by; Karpen.

OLD BUSINESS: 2014 Revised Sherman Zoning Regulations. Changes to be made.

Bullet Malt Beverage License, Karpen made a Motion, to approve Malt Beverage License, second by; Benson.

Port potty for Strom Park, checking on cost.

NEW BUSINESS:

Tree Removal over street ways, Tabled.

Kids Program, looking in to a both after school and summer program for the kids in Sherman.

Hagan Benefits, Sherman Old Fire Tuck; There is liability coverage for the use of this vehicle.  Be sure to note that there is a limitation; however, in that passengers must be in areas that are designated for passengers.  In other words, no liability is extended for people riding on top if they fall, etc.
