The Sherman Town Board met in a special session Monday, June 13th, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at the Sherman Town Hall with Lee Ellis presiding.

 

Members present: Lee Ellis, Gerry Karpen, Bill Benson, Cheryl Swenson and Robin Berg

 

Others present: Kara Duncan

 

The Sherman Town Board met in special session to sort through surplus items in preparation for an auction / fundraiser to be held on July 30th, 2016.

 

The following items were designated as surplus property to be made available at the auction:

Fire Department Helmets,

Fire Department Coats,

Fire Department Boots,

Approx. 1,000 gallon square folding water dam/tank, (typical fire department style), approx. 8’x8’x2’

Two fire department air packs,

Fire truck flood lights,

A box of Misc. leftover rummage items

Old fire department catalogs

Road Grader tire chains

Plastic corrugated 8” drain hose, 100’

Fire hose coupler

Snow plow (V-plow)

Fuel tank, 265 gallons on stand, not guaranteed leak proof,

Sickle mower, (new blade)

International Farmall 340 tractor, runs good, good tires, T/A not working, with 2 point hitch

3 Point hitch mower

Three fire hose nozzles, 2 large, 1 small

10 gallons Rust Buster (unopened)

 

Motion by Benson, 2nd by Ellis, 3 Ayes, motion carried.

 

Karpen made a motion to adjourn, 2nd by Benson.

 

Next regular meeting is Tuesday, July 5th, at 7:30 P.M. at the Sherman Town Hall
